We planned a 10-day trip with Niek in September. A good mix of Bosnia and a bit of beach time in Croatia. The service was very personal and everything we'd discussed in our request: a city break, a beach holiday, history, and not too much car travel: so we took the train through Bosnia and then the ferry to Croatia. We also did a bike tour and took a guided city walk through Sarajevo. Basically, every possible way to travel rolled into one. All in all, a fantastic experience! Contact with Niek was fantastic. I can definitely recommend the WhatsApp service; you know you can always ask questions. Everything was perfectly arranged logistically, and we were able to completely take care of all the arrangements during the holiday, both before and during. So, truly enjoying it to the fullest. I can't wait to see the rest of the Balkans.

Niek helped us with the general route, unique (not too touristy) places to visit, hiking trails, accommodation and restaurant recommendations, day trip ideas, reliable and affordable bike rentals for a local cycling trip (quite unusual!), practical tips, and finally, we went on a trip with Enea, a local guide from a village near Tirana. We had a fantastic trip and, together with Niek, were able to explore Albania carefree.

Last September, we met with Niek from Balkan Travel Support to discuss plans for a multi-day cycling trip in the Balkans. In early May, the time finally came, and we set off on a four-day gravel tour through Slovenia and Croatia. Niek provided the cycling route and took us through remote areas and beautiful scenery. It was a truly unforgettable experience. We discovered Slovenia and Croatia in a whole new way, away from the beaten track and touristy spots. Being able to use the WhatsApp service for assistance along the way or tips for the area gave us a sense of security. It was very comforting to know we always had a backup. Niek's organization and support were excellent, and we would definitely recommend Balkan Travel Support to anyone looking for an adventurous and well-organized (cycling) trip. What an amazing experience this was! And what an unforgettable and special trip Balkan Travel Support gave us. We went on a 10-day tour through Serbia with a group. And Niek was incredibly helpful. He was there for anything you could possibly need, ready to help or bail you out if needed. We were able to do some fantastic things, including a 14-km hike, watch the sunset on the Danube, see everything from cities to tranquil towns, enjoy delicious food everywhere, and above all, have a wonderful time. Enjoy all the beautiful views, savor unforgettable moments. And that enjoyment is mainly because everything was perfectly organized. We highly recommend it. Two weeks ago, I took a wonderful trip through Slovenia, planned and organized by Niek. Charming and unique accommodations run by unique and kind people. Beautiful routes and plenty of tips for things to see along the way in this incredibly diverse country. I'm definitely already considering exploring the Balkans further with Niek next year.

We wanted to celebrate our 25th anniversary with our sisters. Niek put together a wonderful trip to Sarajevo for us. We stayed in a 4-star hotel in the city center with a room for four people, were shown around the city by our fantastic guide Diana, and explored the surrounding area with her. We even ended up in Tito's (secret) bunker and took a Bosnian pita-making workshop. And the icing on the cake was a boat trip on a beautiful lake. On our last day, we took a challenging but oh-so-beautiful hike to the highest waterfall in the Balkans. Thank you, Niek! We had a wonderful trip and enjoyed every minute of it.

Booked a trip to Montenegro with Balkan Travel Support - it was fantastic! Thanks to Niek's advice, we did all sorts of activities, such as enjoying the beautiful Bay of Kotor with a guide, boat, and cable car, rafting at Žabljak, quad biking to the most beautiful viewing points, seeing breathtaking lakes and green mountains everywhere, fly fishing at Mojkovac, speedboating on Lake Skadar, and exploring Budva with a guide. We truly felt like we'd been away for weeks with our 6 and 9-year-old boys thanks to the diverse program and the many adventures. Thanks to Niek, we stayed in wonderful accommodations, some of them gems, places we would never have found ourselves. A huge thank you to Balkan Travel Support for all the apps, guides, advice, and tips along the way, and for helping us develop our love for the Balkans! On to the next trip!

I received a weekend city trip to Novi Sad as a birthday present. I was super curious because I had heard about the city’s cultural vibe and rich history. Niek had researched and arranged things out for me so that I could just enjoy the places I visited. Most of all Niek’s advice was spot on to my taste :) ( really great!!) I mean, because of Niek’s knowledge of the city, I visited really cool places to eat (no touristy traps), I visited the castle and had a guided tour for the underground defense tunnels. Live music, nice bars and above all no-hassle. I am glad to recommend Niek for your travels :)
